Cabbage Roll Casserole

Comfort food at its best. Perfect for those days when you’re craving something that not only fills your stomach but puts your soul at ease. We serve this classic with homemade bread or rolls for extra flavour. 


  • 1lb regular hamburger beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • dash pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 cans tomato soup
  • 2-3 cups water
  • 2 cups minute rice (10 servings)
  • 3-4 cups coarsely chopped cabbage (cooked)
  • grated cheddar cheese (1 block)

Step-by-step Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger
  2. Add onions, salt, pepper, garlic and Worcestershire sauce
  3. Cook until golden brown, drain excess fat
  4. Stir in soup, water and rice
  5. Place cooked cabbage in a casserole dish
  6. Pour meat mixture over cabbage
  7. Top with cheese
  8. Bake at 325ºF for 1 hour
